Are visitors permitted?
Yes, during the day we have open visiting hours from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM.

Are family members permitted to stay overnight with the patient?
Yes, family members may stay, but we ask that only one person stay overnight so that the patient can rest better.

Do you have private rooms available?
Yes, all patient rooms at St. Francis Specialty Hospital are private, and each room is equipped with its own convenient bathroom.

Where are you located?
St. Francis Specialty Hospital is located on the 7th floor of St. Francis Medical Center - Downtown.

Do you offer valet parking?
Yes, you may pull up to the main entrance of St. Francis Medical Center front lobby to utilize valet parking services Monday-Friday, 6:00am- 5:30pm. For self-parking, you may use the St. Francis Medical Center covered parking garage that is connected by an enclosed sky-walk on the second level.

Will the patient have access to appropriate therapy services?
Yes, with a physician's orders, we provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech Therapy.

Where will the patient have to go for diagnostic tests?
Conveniently, most tests are conducted within St. Francis Medical Center and its downtown medical complex. This seamless process is more comfortable for the patient, allowing minimal disruption.

How can we be reassured about the care a patient receives?
Our multi-disciplinary team approach is overseen by the Medical Directors of St. Francis Specialty Hospital who are Board Certified in their respective fields. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 to only 4 or 5, and the quality of Patient Satisfaction is consistently rated "Excellent", above the 90 percentile.
